All of Maurice Adams's furniture was made by hand in Gloucester and displayed in Adams's showroom in Portman Square, London. Maurice Adams's style perfectly embodies the cosmopolitan age and sophistication of Art Deco. His revivalist turned-modernist approach to furniture can be seen in his appreciation of polished veneers and classical shapes. His iconic black and chrome cocktail cabinet, now on display at the V&A Museum London, boasts of his radical ingenuity and complete absorption of modernism.
