A lovely pair of lignum vitae vases. None of the usual telltales indicating lignum, they look almost as if they were mahogany. They are very finely turned with very little thickness of the sides which means little weight but I had to do the float test to make sure. And as expected they sunk to the bottom straight away, lignum being the only wood, as far as I know, too heavy to float.
