A large 17thC walnut open arm chair
A fine and large 17th century walnut open arm chair, having turned legs and H-form stretchers with worn Upholstered seat and back ,decorated with a Thistle design.
The chair has had some restorations and wood worm damage. The seat has a faint stain out line and the pattern has worn off, however this could be re-upholstered or left in its 'Country house condition'.
This is a superb chair and has fabulous colour and patination and is in good condition considering its age.
