An enamel circular dial to the gilt 'honeycomb' masking with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals, A subsidiary smaller alarm dial. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Push button repeating, Numbered to the mechanism 28. An earlier example with sound holes to the base panels. Circa 1880.
