Quality, cast brass sound fretted side panels with silk backing. Ogee brass bracket feet. Brass edged, glass opening front door. An arched glass back door. A quality double fusee, verge escapement mechanism striking the hours on a bell of 8-day duration. A very well engraved backplate. Circa 1780.
