A Georgian 5 Plank Elm Coffer
The chest is made in solid Elm, it has a rounded moulded edge to the top and the sides are cut away to form the legs
The Coffer has a waxed finish it has blacksmith made strap hinges and there is a candle box inside though I think this is a Victorian addition
This is an old piece it has a very good colour, it is in good condition for its years and there are very few marks
This Coffer would make a splendid coffee table or Toy Box or even a Log Box
The coffer is 37” long, 17” deep and 21” high
