A fitted Victorian inlaid rosewood jewellery box
An early Victorian rosewood antique jewellery box beautifully inlaid on the top and front with motifs of delicately fretted mother of pearl. This box has a shaped lid complete with a working key, this opens to reveal a fitted tray which can be lifted out to reveal a generous storage space below. The turned handles on the sides and the feet are all original. This box is in excellent condition with all its fine original polished surface colour. The interior tray is a replacement. Box M. Sizes: 13”(33cms) wide, 10”(25cms) deep, 7”(18cms) high. Date circa 1840.
