A Double Deck.spice Tower An early 19th century sycamore spice Tower %%alt5%%
A double deck spice tower turned in sycamore and beautifully threaded. The top inlaid with a lovely burr and the top container with a rounded base. The lower section flat bottomed, still containing the nutmeg grater and nutmeg. The labels, still legible, but well worn with a small loss from the rim of the lid and a small and stable split in the nutmeg container.
