A nice 17th century coffer in Oak dated 1692 with the initials E R these are original to the coffer, it has nice long feet often these are worn down to stumps, it also has its original hinge for the lid Iron pins these are usualy missing, the bottom boards inside the box are original, the condition is excellent just one split in the centre panel of the lid
