JW Benson Ludgate Hill, London. A superb regulator antique clock circa 1880, in absolutely fabulous condition. A good size clock with no losses or addictions. The eight day movement strikes on the hour with a lovely calming sweep of the pendulum. The dial with a brass bezel, Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial. This is a real statement piece being 4 ft in height and contained in a figured walnut case. Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
