A magnificent set of eight antique mahogany shield back dining chairs including two carvers, dating from around the 1900-1910 period.

The quality is absolutely amazing, with beautifully shaped backs and wonderful carving throughout. Please enlarge the images, especially of the backs to see all the fine intricate details, like the Prince of Wales Feathers & the carved Swags. There are more carvings on the ends of the arms & the tapered spade end legs also have carving on the fronts and sides.

These chairs have a gorgeous colour and patina, they are in fantastic overall condition. The frames have been re-polished, and the seats have all been re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric.
