19th.Century Mahogany Bookcase
An attractive 19th.Century mahogany bookcase having a moulded cornice with subtle line inlay and cross banding. The 2 glazed doors having unusual astragal mouldings and brass closing strip. The doors open to reveal an interior with 3 fully adjustable shelves and working lock and key. The base section with 2 panelled doors which have applied mouldings and turned corner patrae. The well fitted interior having 2 useful drawers with brass swan neck handles with an open slide drawer below. The whole raised on off set shaped bracket feet. This bookcase is in good original condition, fully cleaned and waxed with 1 or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…84.5''/ 214.5cm. Width…48''/ 122cm. Depth…16.75''/ 42.5cm. Interior Shelf Depth...12''/ 30.5cm.
