19thC Welsh Sycamore Farmhouse Dining Table


A superb Welsh dairy dining table, mid 19th century. Featuring a characterful elm base of lovely reddish colour and a fixed two plank scrub top of sycamore. This wonderful top measures 41" across, each plank being 20.5", a rare feature and desirably wide.
Condition is excellent, original throughout, the top features a small area of different wear in one corner, having being used cooking at one end and dining at the other. A very attractive and comfortable Farmhouse table.
