Unique late 19th.c. mahogany hat stand. The unusual square grille shelf, the beautifully turned legs and stretchers with brass fittings and the carved monogramme to each side all hint at it being specially designed for a specific purpose, perhaps in a shop or hotel. In very good, unrestored condition with all it’s original hooks.
