Splendid large 19th.c. chaise longue or daybed in the manner of Howard & Son, c.1870. Very comfortable with a deep button upholstered backrest, raised right hand side and sprung seat. Raised on turned oak legs with large and original brass castors. Good usable condition, solid and sturdy. Covers are worn but serviceable with a patch to the front of the seat. Stamped with the serial number C6695 to one of the rear legs.
