19thC ash and elm spindle back windsor chair
This is a very gold chair an ash frame arising from the elm seat. A classic windsor. Dates froom around 1850-70 and is signed on the back 'SM' by its Lincolnshire maker.
In good, non-creaky, solid condition albeit with signs of old worm. Retreated as a precaution and repolished.
Nice chair, original height, very comfortable, all good.
