19th Century Oak Hall Bench Monks bench settle
A fabulous late 19th century high backed oak bench/settle with four intricately hand carved panels, two of them depicting heads, the central raised panel is left blank which is sometimes carved with the owners initials. The curved arms of the bench have been carved with seated lions. As with all benches of this style they have a box seat which is extremely useful for storage. Seat Height 46cm.
