A good 19th Century well proportioned oak blanket box with evidence of three locks, indicating that this was probably used as a strong box. The box has three brass escutcheons and stands on a plinth base. This antique box has a wonderful colour and patina, is in good condition with a very clean interior. A very attractive English oak box to use as a coffee table or provide useful storage anywhere in the home.
