A very decorative 19th Century mahogany X frame stool, the stool is well presented with new upholstery in a traditional wool plaid. The stool is generously proportioned, the mahogany frame is mellow in colour with a good patina. The decorative pierced and lobed frieze makes this a particularly attractive piece.
The stool is solid and sturdy, there are some historic restorations to the piece, clearly shown in the photographs. A wonderful antique stool that would add elegance and style to any interior.
