A very good Partners pedestal desk by James Winter of Wardour Street, London.Made from beautifully figured mahogany standing on plinth bases with hidden brass castors. 9 graduated drawers to one side with 3 drawers and 2 fitted cupboards to the other. Makers stamp on several drawers. This desk has been fully restored to a very high standard using traditional methods and materials. Replaced hand dyed hide and writing surface with gold tooling.
