19th Century Mahogany Bank of Drawers
A handsome chest of 6 graduated drawers, this is relatively shallow and low, and will fit well into a narrower area without overwhelming a space. Standing on bracket feet, it has decorative brass handles and will look great in a bedroom, entrance hall or reception area, providing functional storage for any room.
Dating to circa 1820, this is made of mahogany and originates from England.
In good age related condition, this has the wear expected for a piece which has been in use for over 200 years. The marks on the top have been polished over and are not obtrusive. There are no escutcheons and the keyhole for the middle left drawer has some nibbled wear to it. No key is available, although locks are present.
