A superb 19th Century serpentine giltwood console table. The unusual pink toned marble sits above a pierced arched and shell carved frieze. The table stands on carved supports depicting winged dolphins and terminates with a serpentine shaped lower platform. The condition is very good, it stands well, evenly and securely. In places there is some wear to the gilding, this is not detrimental and in fact adds to the character and charm. A really beautiful piece that would enhance any interior.
