19th Century French walnut brass inlaid desk having a nice old, tooled leather writing surface. The central drawer is flanked by two side drawers and all are decorated with ormolu escutcheons and have brass inlay. It has two keys. The top is supported by eight turned ebonised legs and joined by cross stretchers which also have brass inlay. The legs terminate in a squashed bun feet.

There have been a few alterations over the years, but not by us, making it great furnishing desk for home.
