A Chinese provincial elm three drawer scroll table in original patinated lacquer finish in country house antique condition with original bronze handles ,this would originally have been used as a scroll table the religious scrolls would have been stored in the drawers and rolled open on the top and weighted either end for study .perfect for use as a side server or console and being freestanding would make good kitchen island
