19th C Antique Oak French Extending Dining Table
This is a typical piece of French provincial antique furniture it is a very heavy solid 2.5” thick 3 plank oak table, the table top is made from very ancient oak and it is extended by opening a slide at either end and inserting a leaf
The table it has very sturdy turned legs and a long H stretcher for added strength
This is a very old piece though the original leaves may have been lost and the ones I have are newer but work very well Otherwise it is in good sound condition with only mild signs of use on the surface, and comes with a warning that it is large and heavy PriceThe table is 32” wide, it is 89” long and extends to 109” with one leaf or 128” DimensionsThe table is 32” wide, it is 89” long and extends to 109” with one leaf or 128” with both the leaves inserted it is 30” high and 25” under knee Category Antique Furniture Date 1870 Late 19th Century Antiques Material Oak Origin French Condition Good Original new Leaves Item code as284a060 / FR625 Status Sold
