19C Regency mahogany folding sofa pembroke table

Antique quality early 19C Georgian / Regency mahogany folding sofa table.
Would also make a great lamp, side, console or occasional table.
It is rare to find this kind of extending table, with the large sofa width (as opposed to shorter Pembrook style). Period brass castors, with some wear as you would expect.
This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age, colour and patina (the top has been refinished historically as you would expect).
The table is solid with no loose joints and the blind mahogany lined drawer slides freely.
Lovely clean lines and simple plain design.
1250mmW (870mmW when closed) x 665mmD x 720mmH (585mmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, distortion, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. There are some historic (believed extinct) woodworm holes (in the leaf support arms under the top as is usual) that we have treated for good measure (still strong).
Stock No. 3188.
Please see our website for more details and photos. Competitive UK and worldwide shipping.
