A 1977 Seiko automatic chronograph wristwatch. A large 'barrel' shaped stainless steel case with original Seiko steel bracelet. A mainly black and gold dial with day/date apertures to 3 o'clock. This model is often called the John Player special, after the Lotus racing teams iconic colour combination. Stainless steel case, signed to the back 'Seiko water resistant, Japan A' with numbers 6138-8030. The date function on this watch is able to be show in Arabic or English. A high quality Seiko 6138 B 21 jewel mechanism. Serial numbers date this watch to 1977.
