A 1962 Omega Seamaster Automatic wristwatch. A silvered dial with a matte finish, with a printed outer minute track. Applied gilt hour markers of uniform design, doubled at the quarters. These hour markers are a variation of the 'pencil' design. Applied Omega logo above 'Omega Automatic'. Signed 'Swiss Made' below 6 o'clock. The hours and minutes are indicated by a variation of 'dauphine' hands.

A stainless steel case with thick lugs, often described as 'beefy lugs'. A snap on case back embossed with the Seamaster Hippocampus logo. Original Omega clover crown. Case reference 2849 15 SC.

The watch is powered by a 20 jewel caliber 503 Omega mechanism. The 16m serial numbers date this watch to 1962.
