A 1957 Longines stainless steel wristwatch. A silvered dial with gilt hour markers and an outer minute track, the hour markers vary at the quarters. A subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o'clock, in the form of a crosshair. A 'jumbo' or 'oversized' case design, with champfered edges and a screw down case back. Original Longines winding crown. Gilt 'dauphine' hands follow a similar design to the hour markers. A high quality 17 jewel caliber 12.68Z manual wind mechanism. Case reference number 6555 - 8. Marked 193 to the inner and lugs. Serial numbers date this watch to 1957.
