An eye-catching compact mirror made in the 1950s by the owners of the Melissa brand. This golden compact mirror is an ideal handbag mirror. The compact is fan shaped and contains a large clear mirror. The mirror frame is inscribed 'Melissa MADE IN ENGLAND'. Each side of the inner lid is decorated with ornate fans. The lid and base are engraved with clam-shell like radians. Measures 4 1/4" and weighs 90.6 grams.
