This is a very beautiful 1940s silver mesh handbag & purse set in excellent condition. The bag frame is set with rhinestones, all of which are present. The twisted rope handle & whole bag very attractive. It is substantial & well made. The original Whiting & Davis label still in place. The lining is very good with no tears. This deep bag also contains two little pockets. The tiny adorable purse is very good too with no tears to the lining. On both the bag & purse all clasps & hinges work perfectly.

The Whiting & Davis bag measures 7 1/2" wide X 5 1/2" from the bottom to the kiss closure. The twisted rope handle measures nearly 5" tall.

The tiny purse measures 3" X just over 2 1/2".
