Liking the gentle nod to the Art Deco era on this one and so good to find one in oak of sensible proportions. A Yorkshire find along with a few other 1930s pieces which survives in good order with adjustable shelves and gentle lines in solid oak. We would say originating from an office or library rather than a home piece.

Workshop report – the bookcase sits in good order: we have sensible usage marks but nothing nasty or new. The oak is a pleasing tone and the piece has been carefully cleaned in our workshop to enhance its look and ensure its ready to place. We have 2 adjustable shelves. It sits firm with no wobbles or sways.

A great looking and highly useful piece of 1930s English antique furniture.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
