A 1914 Rotherams, London 18K gold full hunter pocket watch. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed by makers 'Rotherams, London'. A good quality case in full hunter style with R&S sponsors marks and London gold hallmarks. A high quality 3/4 plate mechanism with turned pillars and signed by makers. The back of this watch is engraved with a dragon above 'Animo Non Astutia', meaning 'by courage not by craft', this is a motto of Clan Gordon. London gold hallmarks date this watch to 1914.
