18thC Primitive Welsh Oak & Yew Cricket Table
A stunning and rare 18th Century primitive Welsh cricket table of outstanding form. A truly incredible example in the most exceptional condition. Featuring a beautifully figured 1" thick single slab oak top supported on gently tapered yew wood legs positioned in a traditionally splayed arrangement with yew wood T-bar stretcher. Displaying the most superb colour and patina throughout.
Standing perfectly level with a lovely flat surface, this incredible table is both strong and sturdy and suitable for daily use should you wish.
A beautiful table and a truly rare item of early Welsh antique furniture, a better example of which would be very hard to find.

Welsh Vernacular is an independent family business run by husband and wife Jonathon and Yvonne Holder. We are the largest and one of the longest established Welsh Antiques businesses in the UK, holding an extensive collection of Country Furniture, Welsh Antiques, Pottery, Treen and Folk Art.
