A good 18th Century oak mule chest. The flat rectangular two plank top opens on the original handmade steel hinges and reveals a large storage area and a candle box which also conceals a hidden compartment. The front, back and sides with good fielded panels, the base with 2 cock beaded drawers and brass back plate handles with working locks and key. Condition - Very good with a particularly good patina. Dimensions:- Height…29’’/ 74cm. Width...44”/ 112cm. Depth…21.25’’/ 54cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
