Large late 18th.c. elm country armchair c.1790. In solid elm throughout. Tall sloped panelled backrest with a shaped top rail and carved detail to the top of the rear stiles. Shaped arms with scroll ends and unusual supports over a board seat. Deep wavey apron to the front and sides, legs joined with front and side stretchers. Lovely colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
