18th Century Oak Spice Cupboard
A Good 18th Century Spice Cupboard, this particular one probably would have hung/fitted into a recess due to the wide
lip moulding surrounding the cupboard..... a bit like the earlier 17th century examples but the carcass on those were a lot rougher as they were usually built into stone walls...This later example has a nice fielded panel door with working lock and key..opening to reveal 5 draws 1 long over 4 short, all oak lined with a nice little addition of mahogany cross banding to each of the boxes.Excellent all round colour and patination
