Good 18th century George III mahogany serving table of good proportions and great design. The square tapered legs are fluted with lovely shape moulded foot to the base. The deep frieze is similarly fluted all round and the table has two drawers to the front. Both drawers are oak lined. There is an astragal mould running round the base of the frieze. The top with thick double moulded edge is a great single piece of timber and has no cracks to it at all. There has never been a brass gallery to the back. There is a good overhang to the back of the top so it can fit flush to the wall.

The condition is very good and original except for it has originally had fretted brackets to the corners as can be seen in one of the pictures. These could be put back if required but I personally think the table looks better without them.
