This very handsome and fine quality 18th C. solid walnut splat back elbow chair features front cabriole and swept back legs with shaped arm supports. The chair has a drop in seat with an old, but not original, tapestry cover in very good condition. It measures 26 ¼ in – 66.7 cm wide, 23 in – 58.5 cm deep and 38 in – 96.5 cm in height, with a seat height of 18 ½ in – 47 cm. This beautiful piece which can also double as a desk chair, would work well in many different areas of the home in a variety of styles and decors.
