With the handsome proportions of the William & Mary period, this Box Stool on bun feet is a great furnishing item of small antique furniture. Of fine dovetailed construction, it has original iron butterfly hinges, escutcheon and working lock. Brass carrying handles on the side are 18th century. A superb side table or log container, a very useful item of late 17th century oak. Circa 1690
