English, Circa 1603-1625.


A 17th century James I oak livery cupboard, exhibiting wonderful patina & rich colour. The cupboard boarded top above a flat-front with two panels flanking a central cupboard door. This central door showcases finely crafted & decorative wrought iron work to the hinges, escutcheon, handle & interior latch locking mechanism. Set below a single deep drawer, spanning the width of the cupboard. All of which is set on baluster turned leg & set on block feet, with an under tier shelf.
