DESCRIPTION:
This is a fine quality Dudley & Co Ltd of Holloway London, 16 drawer oak haberdashery display counter. The counter dates from approximately 1930s. It stands on tapered legs front and back all the same design. The whole counter is oak including the drawer fronts side and handles backs testimony to the quality of the piece and the high standards constantly acquired by Dudley & Co. The oak has mellowed to a fantastic honey colour and the timber grain matches throughout the piece. The counter has been through our workshop and has had a 6.4mm new laminated glass top fitted so absolutely no scratches on any of the glass all ready to go, to be used and enjoyed for many years to come.This is an exquisite piece by Dudley & Co Ltd of Holloway London, featuring a 16-drawer oak haberdashery display counter from the 1930s. It stands on elegantly tapered legs at both front and back. The entire counter, including the drawer fronts, sides, handles, and backs, is crafted from high-quality oak, reflecting the superior standards maintained by Dudley & Co. The oak has developed a beautiful honey hue, and the timber grain is consistently matched throughout the piece. Recently, the counter underwent a thorough workshop inspection and has been fitted with a new 6.4mm laminated glass top, ensuring no scratches on any of the glass. It is now ready for use and enjoyment for many years to come.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
This cabinet is in fantastic condition, having been through our workshop. All residue from old advertising stickers has been carefully removed, and the piece has been given a general clean and polish. The top glass, which was previously fogged and scratched, has been replaced with a new 4.6mm thick laminated glass piece. As expected with vintage items, there are some minor signs of previous use, including the occasional bump or mark, but nothing that detracts from its overall beauty and functionality.
