12 Feet Long Extending Oak Dining Table c.1880
Superb quality late 19th.c. extending oak dining table c.1880. Unusually long, extending on a corkscrew mechanism and telescopic hardwood frame from 72″ to a maximum length of 144″. With four additional leaves to seat 12 or even 14 people. Solid oak top with a thumb moulded edge and rounded corners. Good turned and fluted baluster legs with the original brass collared large pot castors. Enamelled maker's labels for Thomas Edwards & Sons of Newcastle Staffordshire. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and French polished in our workshops. Winding handle supplied.
