A beautifully crafted Victorian card table in richly figured rosewood, offered in excellent antique condition. The fold-over top rotates to reveal a hidden storage compartment and opens to a vibrant green baize playing surface, extending to 90.5cm. Supported by a tapered column with a carved collar and quadroform base with paw feet, it combines sculptural elegance with practicality. Minor age-related imperfections enhance its warm patina and 19th-century charm. A versatile piece that transitions effortlessly from console to games table. This is a piece that not only elevates a space but also carries with it the charm and craftsmanship of a bygone era.
