Fabulous pair of 19th.c. cast iron balcony panels c.1880 by Walter MacFarlane & Co. of Glasgow, probably the best known name in Scottish ornamental ironwork. Featuring an exuberant foliate pattern, double sided and in great condition. It would seem the panels were primed but never painted so the casting remains beautifully crisp. With a clear MacFarlane & Co. mark.
