T. Page Wood Leather Shotgun Gun Case (Empty)
This lovely antique gun case has a maker's label inside for T. Page Wood of Bristol. It looks to date from the late nineteenth century and is of superb quality. It has brass corner mounts and a brass claps. However it is missing its straps and handle and is in need of some repair. It is stamped on the top with the initials W.F.B. It retains its felt-lined compartmentalised interior.
Condition: Overall in fair condition and in need of some repair. The case is missing its straps and its carrying handle. There is some scuffing, wear and marking to the leatherwork as might be expected and some splitting to the corners. There is some wear to the hinge at the back. The lined interior is grubby and there is some fraying and splitting to the felt lining.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
9cm high, 83.5cm wide, 23cm deep (to maximums). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
