Striking Brass Inlaid Ebonised Round Centre Table
This exceptional ebonised round centre table is a striking example, featuring brass inlay and refined detailing. With its bold contrast of dark ebonised wood and gleaming brass accents, this table is both an elegant and highly decorative statement piece.
The large circular top boasts a stunning design, with a rich rosewood crossbanded border, beautifully framed by double brass string inlay. Within the rosewood band, six brass stars are inset, adding a touch of refinement and symmetry to the design. Surrounding the tabletop frieze is a substantial brass strap, encircling the piece and enhancing its opulent aesthetic.
This high-quality construction is also practical—the top lifts off its base for ease of transport and is securely held in place by brass table pins/screws when assembled.
The base features four turned columns supporting the tabletop. Above four elegantly shaped legs, each adorned with gilded moulding that extends down to ornate brass paw feet. At the top of each leg, a finely cast brass rosette adds a further touch of decorative finesse. The table is mounted on casters, ensuring ease of movement without compromising stability.
