Set Scottish Silver Spoons, Edinburgh c1746
A superb set of Four Antique, George II, Scottish Sterling Silver Tablespoons dating from c1746.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark WA for William Aytoun, the Edinburgh castle town mark, the Assay Master's mark HG for Hugh Gordon and date letter R for 1746/47.
They measure just over 8 1/2" inches (215mm) in length. The weight is 288.2g/10.16oz/9.26ozt.
