A pesh kabz from Afghanistan I would think 1840-60. Wood covered leather scabbard with a slot at the top for easy removal of the knife it’s good solid with no splits . The knife is of heavy construction the hilt bone and steel the blade highly decorated with a swollen chain mail piercing tip . The top of the blade ribbed . This is as it came to us would clean up very well. A good old fighting knife
