A fantastic pair of Victorian walnut open armchairs, each showcasing a well-proportioned back with shapely splats and a gently curved top rail. The shepherd’s crook-style arms flow gracefully from the uprights, framing the seat with elegance and poise. Standing on carved cabriole forelegs with padded feet and splay legs to the rear, these chairs offer both decorative charm and practical stability. Upholstered in a classic floral tapestry that is clean and well-maintained, the seats could be easily re-covered to suit any interior scheme. As with all antiques, there are minor imperfections that speak to their age, but the chairs remain solid and sound.
